Too Good to be True
Too Good to be True is an original graphic novel written by yours truly, Felipe Cagno, with art by Bruno Oliveira (Marvel Comics) and Ivan Nunes (DC Comics).
This is my fifth Kickstarter campaign after four very successful projects so some of you might already know me and my work but if you are here for the very first time, welcome!!
I’m happy to be back on Kickstarter with what I consider one of my most personal projects up to date. Too Good to be True was one of twenty recipients of a cultural grant from the state of São Paulo in Brazil specifically aimed towards graphic novels.
It was hailed as an inspirational tale pushing people to pursue impossible dreams no matter the odds. As someone who’s been working exclusively with comics and films for the past ten years I was able to pour a lot of personal experiences into this graphic novel.
And it’s just fantastic to finally bring this to international audiences after releasing it in Brazil. The graphic novel is ready to go to print, the art and lettering is 100% done, and will be available to ship in September.
Why September?
We print with Kraken Print in Taiwan which usually takes about 9-10 weeks from file approval to delivery in Florida.
