Fleeing the oppression of WWII Germany, a young girl and her parents move to a remote town on the border of France. It is here she finds her new best friend, a cat named Nook. The young girl embarks on a quest with her to learn more about her furry new friend’s past and what exactly happened to the family that once inhabited their new home.
