I can’t tag everyone. I want to, but that might just get a bit silly.
So there was an award given out yesterday afternoon at C4 in Traverse City. I still can’t comprehend that it was actually given to me. The award is for Independent Creator of the Year. From the official write up: “This award will be bestowed upon the creator that most espouses Gary’s spirit. In addition to creating comics of their own, either self-published or through small press publishers like Caliber, the recipient of this award will be someone who also encourages, lifts up, and helps other independent creators on their journey.”
I am truly honored to have been chosen to receive this award. I’m honestly just happy to be here. I still find myself amazed that I’m even allowed to play in the same sandbox! I wouldn’t even be here without all of your help. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
