William “Alpha” Wolford joins, Alessandro Turetta, Ryan Palmer and Jesse Hansen on Saints 8

We are pleased to announce that William “Alpha” Wolford has officially accepted the interior inking job for Hayvard Saint’s 8 creative team!

William is a talented inker, using his digital methods to create amazing shading and line weights, here is some of his work he did for us on the heroes bio images in coloring stage now by the talented Alessandro Turetta.

None of this would have been possible without Jesse Hansen, and he originally offered to help me out, like he often does when I am stuck or need expert advice. He fixes, and creates, renders, formats, resizes, basically everything needed to perfect a project for printing or sharing. We decided that since he is the Jack of all trades to get us a finished file, he can better do this from the Publication Administrator position and avoid juggling inking the books and working with the finished publication prep and execution. For Example, Jesse took the finished Ultra Ghost, and made the pinup shown, adding logos and text from the book and even adding a glow effect to make the hero stand out from the handsome black behind. This was done with 5 files of varying resolution, and he formatted and made it all shine together. He is an artistic whiz in many platforms and talents, too many to list.

Hansen always has my back and we agreed that William’s inks complimented not only Joe’s pencils but Alessandro’s coloring/rendering abilities as you can see below. Now we can offer this beauty on the interior pages, and have our studio expert shining up the finished product.

Welcome William to the team!

Ryan Palmer added 4 new photos — with Jesse Hansen and 10 others.
