The7Deadly Questions

When you chose the name T.i.T.S did you consider how offensive it might be to women? Why T.i.T.S?
T.I.T.S. is an acronym for Transmigrant Interdimensional Taxicab Service. Our comic is partly a comedy series and the name just seems to fit. It isn’t meant to be taken seriously, and our attention isn’t to offend anyone, but we don’t want to censor our own sense of humor either.

How far do you see T.i.t.s going? Tv, Movies Action figure?
I’d be happy just to see the comic be able to sustain itself to where we can continue our journey and tell our story, but an animated series would be the bomb!

Do you take it on yourself to make sure your female characters are handled carefully and not used in overall unnecessary sexual ways?
Sexuality plays a big role with many of our characters, primarily Starla who is one of the main protagonists. We have supporting characters in the LGBT community as well who express their sexuality, but more on the relationship side of things. So, while there is some sexual content, we prefer to explore it from more of a comedic perspective than an erotic one.

Did you ever consider using a different name to steer clear of any controversy?
I don’t know, possibly. We could drop the whole T.I.T.S. part, and I have pondered calling the comic Transmigrants, but we’ll see. We’ve been writing and working on T.I.T.S. for a couple of years now and don’t even think about the word, just our comic. Our colorist is a woman and she really digs the title and hasn’t said anything about it being offensive or controversial.

If you could have T.i.T.S cross over with any other comic title ever, what title would it be and why!
The Incredible Hulk so we could see how angry Hulk would get if he found Skitz’s cat hair on his toothbrush and conversely, if Hulk smoked a doobie with Blotter, if he would be too chill to smash anything.

With out spoiling anything is it possible we might see a prequel issue setting up origins of the main characters?
As the series progresses we’ll be doing a lot of flashbacks with characters to further expand on the multiverse setting in T.I.T.S. and shed some light on their origins.

We have all seen sliders, that guy with pocket watch and Doctor Who. Is T.i.t.s just cashing in on an old idea already done well or is there a reason we should be excited for and welcome T.i.T.S into our fandom?
Everything is a motif to some extent; all stories have been told in one aspect or another. The best way to make it original is to focus on the characters and that’s what we try to do in T.I.T.S. is make it a character driven series.

7ad26ed1a97be98ed96e3f8a51e87762_originalWe have a whole multiverse full of weird, wacky characters with unique personalities and outlandish abilities. At its heart T.I.T.S. is a comedy, but as the series builds the relationship between Starla, Blotter, and Skitz Skatz intensifies and their role in the multiverse becomes more apparent. I think the array of characters we have will give any reader a reason to fall in love with T.I.T.S. Right now we are finalizing issue 6 with colors and planning out some Cons in Texas and Oklahoma to attend! So stop by the booth at Wizard Con in Austin and Tulsa and say hello. Thanks!Untitled-2k
