Josh Dahl you actually asked for this, a ballz yet dangerous move. Can you survive the upcoming peril?  Do you understand the depths of evil you are about to face? We shall see. So you asked for it so here comes:

The7Deadly   Questions

You can choose to work for Marvel or DC but have to agree to sell all of your original stories and characters to them so they can integrate all your heroes to be brand new villains?  The kids call it selling out, so do you…. sell out?
If my original issues could still be out there, and accessible, I think I might do it. But if my stuff would be effectively wiped clean… no thanks. I’ll wait for a deal on my own terms.

What is your most prized possession?  The thing you own that would devastate you if it were stolen damaged or lost?
Hmmm… probably some old punk-rock t-shirts.

Do you take it on yourself to make sure your  female characters  are handled carefully and not used in overall unnecessary sexual ways?
No. I just write the story and stay true to the character. When it’s all done, I try to look at it through different lenses. I know how I see it, but how will someone else see it? Is it going to offend someone or hurt them in some way? And then I weigh that potential hard against the value of the story.

Do you feel as a creator you need to stay away from certain topics? If so what topics are on your do not touch list?
I think there are some topics that would be no fun to tackle head on. Or topics that I don’t have much to say about. Though, I don’t think there are any topics where I couldn’t find SOME story to tell. So, no, I don’t have any do not touch topics.

Congrats you were just promoted to TV head Exec and you have the power to revive a single show.  You have only 3 minutes tills your powers are gone oh wait its one min because you were reading this.  So pop quiz hot shot who do you save and why.  Answer NOW!
Tales From The Crypt. Because I want to meet The Cryptkeeper. And, you just KNOW there’s a whole generation of creators just bristling to get at that gold mine.

What character would you want to write a limited series for?
Blue Beetle, Ted Kord

Ok so you are now the Head of all Comic book companies ever created for a day as an award for your fantastic work on Below ZERO. You have now wasted half of your day trying to work with some stupid computer program that won’t work.  You decide someone has to die now, so what Character comes too mind that you hate and wish where a dead superhero?
There have been SO MANY characters that I have not liked, but who got some new POV and then I came around to really liking them. It’d be hard for me to pick. I’ll cheat and say Spawn. Already a dead superhero.

Well done Josh Dahl you made it.  We promise not to tell anyone you broke a sweat. Now go and shamelessly self-promote yourself and make the world a fan of Josh Dahl.  But you only have a single paragraph:

I’m Josh Dahl. I write a super-villain noir comic book series called Rapid City Below Zero. It’s drawn by Shawn Langley and stars a villainess named Icicle. The criminal world she inhabits was largely inspired by the decade I spent working as a teacher in Boston’s juvenile correction system. Right now we are pushing our kickstarter to fund issue #5 of Rapid City Below Zero. We’re doing it page by page and inviting backers to come into our online collaboration studio to watch us make the very book they are funding! I know it sounds confusing, so just come check it out::
