Being part of a Creative couple do you both have the same vision of the future for your creations or are there 2 visions?
I think it’s definitely the same. We might have different moments we’re looking forward to most as the series rolls along, but we generally want the 
same things and want to pursue the same themes and “big ideas.”

Is there ever a competitiveness while creating?
I don’t think so. I know I sometimes work extra hard to impress her – she’s super cute when she gets excited about stuff, so I love being able to draw or write something that puts that smile on her face.

How do you settle disagreements in creating or marketing?
If it’s on an issue that’s really important (even if only to one of us), deep disagreements usually open with long arguments, unfortunately. Eventually, though, what we strive to do is find a third option – figure out what the core thing is I want most, and 
what she wants most, and find a way to try and satisfy us both with something neither had thought of yet. It isn’t always possible (some issues have binary solutions) but when it is, the compromise is always a better answer than whatever either of us had wanted on our own.

What is the one think you wish your Partner in Creation would stop doing or do better?
She could be more patient, sometimes. On the one hand, that sense of urgency has helped us accomplish as much as we have in the time we’ve done it, and I definitely tend toward a perfectionist streak that would hold us back if it went unchecked, but there are times where it’s worth calming down and taking a little more time on something or just not being quite so worried about how fast something happens.

Where do you ultimately want to see done with your I.P? Maybe a movie, possible cartoon or movie maybe a toy line?
With The Uniques, I’d love to see some toys or statues, and I think it’s ripe for an awesome RPG (video game or tabletop or both) but I don’t really have any interest in movies or TV. I’d be open to listening if somebody wanted to talk it over, but knowing where the story is going and how it’s going to get there… it would be hard to make a movie of that without compromising things I’d be sad to let go. Rainbow in the Dark would make a kickass movie trilogy, though. I just hope it could get made while Sam Elliot is still young enough to star as Jackson!

What character would you want to join your created new world for a 3 issue arch and why?
That’s hard to say. We built a world with The Uniques that’s tough to just pop guest-stars into. Maybe Cloak and Dagger? They’re fantastic characters who could fit the mechanics of our world pretty well and nobody else seems to know quite what to do with them.

Who is the better creator and why?
You say that as if we’re two separate creators. We aren’t. We’re the two-headed hydra of comics, my man. We’ve been together since we were 19 years old – we learned to be ourselves by being together. Taking just one of us alone is like having Oreos without milk. Sure you could do it, but why the hell would you?!

There’s no big publisher or bureaucratic machine behind us, it’s just us working as hard as we can every single day; morning, noon, and night.
