Do you think fan art is ok to sell at cons?
Oooof, going for the Jugular… Yes but it all depends. Legally it’s a tough line, prints of unlicensed characters are directly infringing on the rights of someone else’s property where as original art has been considered to not infringe since it is someones direct interpretation of said character, that is to say the original art is not infringing on copyrights of already published artwork (plagiarized.) I’m not sure if that directly answered the question so I’ll try again, I think fan art is OK to sell at cons and I won’t comment on what other people choose to sell unless it’s directly ripping off other peoples artwork and saying it’s their own.
What is your dream job in comics ?
Hrmmm, making stories for people to enjoy for years to come by working in teams or just by myself. So really my dream job is just making my own comics and helping others make comics, so I guess I’m living my dream already.

Different experiences and ways of communicating. In many cases we use different languages/context which can be interpreted in different ways and the communication is the hardest part. Working with other Artists you have to work with their experience and talent and understand what to expect from them and how to compliment their work. With writers it’s the same situation but more of interpreting their writing for the comic page. It’s easy to get get too wordy and you lose the balance between the written word and the imagery needed to tell the story, it’s carefully balancing what the writer means or the idea they are trying to convey and working with them to have that idea come forth from the page when it’s being read.
Where are you gonna be in 5 years?Making comics/art likely still working my day job because of the benefits.
Do you think comics cash in on sex to often ?
No, I think that the depiction of women in comics over the years has over-sexualized the female form and the publics perception of comics but beyond that, no.
What is your ideal project to work on ?Another ball buster here… honestly I don’t have an ideal project to work on. There isn’t much in creating comics that I can’t do. My skill set allows me to fill any roll in the creative team on a book and I enjoy helping other creators bring their projects to life. It’s a tough balance wanting to creating work for myself and work for other people.
What is the worst Super power ever created in comics?
As long as it used to tell a good story then there are no bad super powers.

I make comics and original art. Wish I had more specifics for all of you but waiting on word for release dates before I announce. In short, I make pretty things and make pretty things with other other people, so come and look at all the pretty things by keeping an eye out through Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook.
