The promised announcement:
Today, Think Alike Productions LLC and I have entered into an agreement where I will write the novelization of their flagship comic, THE AGENCY. This indie series has been described by the Miami New Times as “A Harry Potter meets Mission Impossible style mash-up with killer art and a page-turning plot!”
I’m excited about this opportunity. My own Triangle novels are an action-adventure series with a sci-fi twist, so I believe I’m a good fit to jump into this sandbox and explore the world of the International Agency of Magic. Plus, while creating a novelization from a comic isn’t new (DC did so with the Superman / Doomsday storyline in “The Death and Life of Superman” in 1993), as far as we can determine it hasn’t been done with an indie comic. We’re breaking new ground, which is always kind of fun.
The target for the first novel, based on Volume One of the series, is early 2017. I want to thank Ruben Romero at Think Alike Productions for this opportunity, and look forward to sharing with you progress and the occasional sneak peek.
