The main character, Stu, has gone missing from the webcomic, Cynical Stew. His wife and daughter have been looking for him in the most recent strips, but he has yet to be found. Since Stu is missing his daughter, Cynical Z, is taking over the strip for the month of January! All the strips for the month of January will be co-written by my real life daughter, and inspiration for Cynical Z, Zooey. All the Sarcastic Sides that will be featured in January will be actual quotes from Zooey and all the strips will center around the character of Cynical Z. We will still be using a rotating roster of artists like we usually do with Cynical Stew, but for the Cynical Z takeover we’ll be changing it up a little. Since January will be focused on the daughter in the strip, we are going to have young creators do all the artwork for these strips. This is going to give some of these young creators a chance to shine and work on a comic strip for the very first time. In addition to these young creators working on the strips, we’ll also be posting fan art from young artists all month long. It’s going to be a fun month and we’ll get to see artwork from all kinds of young creators. Be sure to follow the Cynical Stew webcomic in January so you don’t miss out!
