The battle over which con is the best con often comes down to celebrity and attendance, yet those are honestly superficial numbers. Comic Cons often forget the Comic PART of Comic Cons. Not NYCC. and not while Mike Negin is at the controls of Artist alley. Mike Negin has made sure the Comic stays in comic Con and in the Artist Alley, something SDCC is slowly forgetting. ( Mike and the NYCC management raised 55,350 for St Jude’s this year. ) Ultimately SDCC is a shiny, cool new cars while NYCC thanks to guys like Mike Negin are the Muscle cars of Cons. Powerful and severing a purpose of creation and celebration and due to COMIC fans will KEEP on going even if Hollywood leaves.
