When I first started writing comics, I had no idea what I was doing (I am often reminded that I still don’t know nearly as much as I should). But one thing I knew was that it wasn’t going to be easy… furthermore, it was probably going to be damn near impossible.
But I had that bug in me… ask any comic creator and they’ll tell you what I mean. I went through HIGHS & LOWS and had moments when I thought I should quit. But I kept pushing on (call it “For the love of the game”) and listened to the advice and criticism and tried to correct my mistakes.
I found a great home with Source Point Press and have surrounded myself with some amazingly talented creators and finally found my comic in the Bible of comics PREVIEWSworld.
Today was our day… ALL of us creators on all levels were out there doing the thing that we do. Thank you to all of you who have helped me along this road… and I hope that I have or will repay the favor.
