A comic book series immortalizes an everyday hero into super hero form. .

 From the Fire Girl Kickstarter:

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/firegirl/

” My name is Stephanie Sorensen, the inspiration behind FireGirl. I am a volunteer firefighter for Pasco County, Florida and teacher for autism. I became a firefighter to help overcome my own fear of fire from surviving a house fire as a child. Now, I’m a producer and writer of a comic book Firegirl which I use to not only entertain people of all ages but a portion of the proceeds go to benefit education in autism.”

” With this kickstarter, I plan to use the funds to create a custom FireGirl costume that I can use at a photo shoot for promotional materials for FireGirl. I plan to also use the costume at events to put smiles on children’s faces.  Finally, 10% of the funds raised to goal from the Kickstarter will go directly into classrooms for autism to help purchase sensory equipment.”

“Anything that is raised beyond my goal of $800 will help in covering the costs of printing the collective and fire safety editions. The collective edition will be used to sign at events and for online sales and the fire safety edition will be used to pass out to children for fire safety education.”

Please watch my video which tells the story of how FireGirl came to be.”
