A Story of Monster Bias, That starts from odd circumstances & misunderstandings. For Drac, Stien & Mr. Mum this a lifetime of bias has been forced on them.

The Inspiration behind MONSTERS

Rob Wanted to Make a Super Hero Story that was different. While in-between stories and waiting on Art ( For AFTERMATH and JAXX BOOK)  Rob put out a simple Request on Social Media “I am Bored who want to make an Art Comic not for Profit but for Art and Fun.”

CGhirardo stepped up and Submitted early art. The Art did not fit what Rob was looking for but it inspired him and Rob wanted to work with CGhirardo, so he asked CGhirardo do you like Monsters

Now Rob has said told this story all over the Comic Con Highway and to date admits till meeting CGhirardo he never wanted to do a Monster Tale. In fact he said there was no reason to tell a monster story they have all been told already.  But the art of CGhirardo and a recent watching of a classic show brought an idea alive for a New story and direction for the So-Called Monsters.

Rob Andersin loved Scooby Doo Growing up. He Loved the fact that the real Monsters aren’t always who you expect them to be and more often they are the people who are looking to make money off tragedies. Rob was saddened to learn that modern-day Scooby Doo now fights actual monsters and has lost that magic of teaching kids to watch for those with power and means to do harm. Rob being Inspired by this loss of integrity in something he was a fan of and the FANTASTIC Art of CGhirardo’s inspired  Rob to turn the so-called  MONSTERS into REAL PEOPLE and explained how Hollywood cashed in on their Genetic Disorders to Make Movies and Money.

THE STORY so Far…

In Naples Florida, our “Monsters” have made a quiet life and faded into obscurity. The “Monsters” consist of the Invisible Man, The Mummy, Frankenstein, and Dracula who are real people, not Monsters, with unfortunate misconceptions about who they are thanks to the silver screen. The local police think they know who they are, based on the silver screen, despite not being anything like their Hollywood myths. When dead bodies beginning showing up around them it doesn’t take long for the police to try to pin the deaths on the “Monsters”. These so-called” MONSTERS” must act fast to clear their names and in the process will expose the REAL LIFE MONSTERS living freely under all of our noses. How it all Came together Rob Andersin and CGhirardo wanted to work together and were trying to make a completely different comic at first. The Orginal Comic book Rob felt was not a good fit for CGhirardo’s Art, but Rob was both inspired and inspired by CGhirardo’s Artistic talent and wrote a 5 page story about Monsters to match his style and embrace it. The Preliminary art was drawn by CGhirardo and it quickly filled 5 pages with the beginning of an amazing story and suddenly a longer story was born out of enjoyment of creating by both writer and artist. By the time all was said and done a 32-page Comic had been created in a couple of months.

NOW:

After the EVENTS of “AND THEY CALL US MONSTERS, the “MONSTERS”, at least for a While settled into a new Empowered role of finding the worlds True Monsters and Exposing them. However Quickly things begin to Spin out of control and they have a moment where an event leads to sudden and disturbing realization that they may  have been Betrayed by one of their own! This sets the Monster on a Path of REVENGE and REDEMPTION. But the Twist and turns won’t stop till the Very Last PAGE!
