Recently  Dominic was approved to have a National Holiday by the National Day Calendar.  The holiday is National Action Figure Day and is on July 25th.  Dominic came up with this holiday to celebrate the imagination of kids who like him, seek hopefulness through their action figures.  In 2015 Dominic’s family was homeless for over a year.  During that time, Dominic would make action figures out of rubber bands and toilet tissue rolls.  Dominic’s parents could not afford to purchase toys but he wanted to keep his little brother from being sad. The action figures that Dominic designed really got his brothers through a very hard time.

Dominic has been writing letters to request toy stores to participate in National Action Figure Day by selling their action figures for $1.00 or for a reduced price of under $15. Once the company agrees to participate, on July 25th the store will put up the proclamation from the National Day Calendar in their window to show that they support National Action Figure Day.  The National Day Calendar has over 20,000 media outlets that will advertise Dominc’s holiday as well as the participating businesses.  Dominic believes that National Action Figure Day will bring joy to kids all over the world.

Dominic will also be hosting a National Action Figure Day breakfast at  Chick Fil A in Hampton where he plans to give action figures to over 1000 kids in Hampton Roads.
