Blue Bell catches up with an old friend, supplies arrive to San Pueblo and El Diablo’s road trip is halted by the Stranger.
After Blue Bell declines the Stranger’s request to lower her gun, he demands King to take it. To Blue Bell’s surprise, he refuses stating taking it could put Blue Bell’s life in danger. The Stranger cauterizes Bradley’s bloody limp, then addresses the people of San Pueblo for the first time since arriving to the town. The people share the town has a sustained program for food and water. In a surprising move, the Stranger assigns military guard to the armless Bradley. El Diablo makes his grand appearance in his headquarters: the Goatland Amusement Park and Petting Zoo. The Stranger asks Blue Bell to lower her gun which she declines. The people of San Pueblo question the Stranger’s actions. El Diablo makes his grand appearance in the Goatland amusement park.
