I draw comic books, It’s what I do. It’s who I am. All my life, my heart’s ambition has been to create, write, draw and share all the wonderful stories that churn inside of my brain on a daily basis, clawing and scrapping at the forefront of my mind, each desiring to get out and be seen by you.

Like most aspiring writers and artists, I have lived my life completely unsatisfied, working jobs for other people all the while overwhelmed by an anxiety that comes from being unfulfilled. In February of this year, I’d had enough! I quit my job and dove head-first into my dream of becoming a professional comic book artist.

I have worked on two projects since my career change. “Deadly Crimson” for Melissa LeEllen of Creative Global Entertainment, and “The New Kid” and anti-bullying comic book produced by Dushe’ Management. While I love working on these stories, my heart still yearns to tell my own. So, allow me to introduce you to Cannonball.

Why and What is Cannonball’s Run?

Cannonball’s Run was created by G David Cooper to be a kid safe comic full of action and adventure and plenty of fun for all ages. The story is derived from Aesop’s Fable, “The Tortoise and the Hare” and depicts the epic race as an event that takes place every one-thousand years to determine the course of the universe for the next millennium.

The story features a group of children who find an egg in the woods that hatches a unique creature. It’s turtle, but not just any turtle. This is a visitor from another planet who quickly becomes their greatest friend. The first issue focuses on Zach Dupree and his best friend Manny Garcia. Later, additional characters will be added who hold significant roles in the stories on-going adventure. One of the main characters introduced in the very beginning is the Director of Unnatural Occurrences for the United States. He will become a character of extreme importance as the story progresses.
