The7Deadly   Questions

have used GPS to find you, now your answers will determine your survival!

painting2What inspired you to work in comics?
I was working doing illustrations. One day, a publisher liked my work and introduced me to the world of coloring comics.

Growing up outside of America was it hard to find Comic Books that you could read?
No, I always had access to comics. Especially growing up in Barcelona, where there’s a lot of culture.

What is your Dream Job Ie the Comic book you are dreaming and hoping  to work on?
Like most people, I’d love to work for one of the bigger publishers (Marvel, DC, Image, IDW, Darby Pop, Black Mask…)

In Spain is sexuality more accepted than in America in your opinion?
I think so, yes. In general, there is less censorship when it comes to sexuality.

Are there topics not being addressed in comics written by American Writers that you would like to see addressed?
To be honest, I’m not a big fan of sex in comics. Only when necessary.painting1

Would you rather work for one of the Big 2 or Own a Successful Indie Comic book you have to constantly promote?
As any good comic freak I would love to work for DC, but being able to work on a personal project is awesome (even if you have to rely on self-promotion).

What is a mistake you made in your early years that our readers could learn form and not repeat?
My biggest mistake, and something I will always regret, is stopping painting for 15 years. You should never stop doing what you love.

illustrationWell done  you have a single paragraph to tell us why we should become fans  and what you are working on now :
“I’m working with Mariano Eliceche in a project based on a fantastic script by Luis Roldan – a sci-fi/mystery comic series called Remember. My fans are my friends, with whom I share my love for art and comics. I’m very grateful to be able to count on them”
