There he encounters his villainous match, a grotesque fiend called The Frankenborg! Their titanic twelve page battle is just the start of an epic adventure, where the Berserkonaut will be pushed to his very limits. Come along as he fights to save the woman he loves, the city of Megatroit and the entire planet from a forthcoming zombie apocalypse!

I’m Jeff Lafferty and I’m a comics creator.

I’ve completed all 24 pages & the cover, of the 1st issue of my original comic book – The Berserkonaut.

I’m now seeking funding to publish my comic and distribute it through comic shops all over the world.

Comics have been a passion of mine for most of my life. In the 90’s I worked for Marvel Comics, drawing books like Doom 2099, The Askani Xmen and Phoenix Resurrection. Working as a penciler in mainstream comics with inkers and colorist going over my work, I never felt like I was able to produce the quality of work that I wanted to do.

With the Berserkonaut my goal is to accomplish what I could not do twenty years ago, and put a book on the stands that is 100% percent my vision. A book with a great story, great art and an awesome superhero you can get behind and root for.

This is my dream project, please help me bring it to life!

I’m trying to raise $3500 dollars.

I need a minimum of $2100 to print 2500 copies of the comic. I need a large print run because, along with online and convention sales, I’m planning on distributing the books through ‘Diamond Comics Distributor’ to reach as many retail comic shops as possible.

I’m also planning on sending a free promotional comic to 300 indie friendly comic shops in an attempt to boost the orders through the distributor and get shop owners excited about the comic, that’s going to cost roughly another $1000 dollars. That leaves me with about $400 dollars to spend on shipping and art supplies.

The budget is tight, but if I can reach the $3500 funding goal, I know I can make this book happen!
