Contracts seem too some as a signal that I don’t trust someone. Guess what you shouldn’t. Go look int mirror and ask the person have you betrayed me? Did you know we should not have done that? Why Did you let me do that? What did you pick that person over me? Once your done in the mirror you will realize in life we even betray our own self interests and are left with regrets.
Remember all those great relationships that turned bad after it ended. yet when you where in it you would told everyone you can trust them right? Than why did they do what they did after the break up.
A contract iss not a sign of I don’t trust its a sign of respect. I respect you enough to take you serious enough to want to protect your right as a creator as much as I want to protect my own so we can work on this with out worry. That is how you should look at contracts and use them for any project you work on that is for profit. Not doing it is one of the top regrets of many creators out there today/
