| This comic is special to me. I’ve been working on comics that I began in high school and comics that are partly based on things that have happened in my life. Dulce is neither of those things. Dulce is the first comic that I’m putting out that is based on wild ideas in mine and Gene’s heads as well as research into the wild stories of Dulce Base. In some ways having less personal attachment to the story has made it a little more exciting at the moment. It’s also the most polished and mainstream style book I’ve taken part in and that’s really exciting.
