Why did you feel you need Kickstarters help to launch your project and will your goal if reached cover all the creative costs?
I really felt Kickstarter would help me reach a bigger audience and allow a lot more people to get in on the fun of the Guano Guy comic. If I reach my goal it will finance the creation of another issue.
How did the creative team behind this Kickstarter Come together?
As the creator, I seek out artist to help me complete the book and luckily I’ve been able to find a lot of awesome and talented folks.
What do you believe separates your Kickstarter from the thousands of other Kickstartes out there?
I’m not sure I can give a good answer to this. I love my book and I hope it entertains a lot of people but I’m not going to hold it above the efforts and all the other hard working creators.
Is the Kickstarter the Start of something Bigger or is this a must have One Shot?
I’ve written way ahead on this so I hope to get enough interest to keep it going.
Are Stretch Goals something important to your project or just your way to give back to the Backers?
I’d love to see the stretch goals reached so I can give away some stuff and because I think the recordings would be silly and entertaining for everyone.
If you saw this project, pretending it wasn’t your what would do you think of it and how you would react to it and Why?
I still read and laugh at my own book so it definitely is my kind of humor.
What is the inspiration behind this project?
My love of superheroes and sitcoms. I was doing stand up but some of the material didn’t fit a comedy routine and thus I began working it into a comic book.
