Comments
  • Andersin Rob Weed out those in your friends list that make the world a bad place
  • Andersin Rob Understand some people online are just here to be obnoxious. Understand this and Move on and Block when needed.
  • Andersin Rob Blocking people who aren’t good people is no different then cutting cannier out of your body, do it as soon as you know they will cause you any type of discomfort or harm, not by disagreeing but by being abusive.
  • Andersin Rob Never allow your threads to be a place people get attacked. Delete comments that attack people and don’t allow abuse. There is a reason we can delete comments
  • Andersin Rob Don’t crest echo chambers, they will only hurt you from seeing the bigger world in front of you. The ECHO chamber won’t change the world only limit you to the bigger world out there.
  • JB Kalagayan Take a break once in awhile from all the social media.

  • Darph Dervish 30 day snooze
  • Shelb Shup Dont get dragged into other people’s issues and arguments.
  • Andersin Rob This is a Harder one, Identify the “friends” who cause trouble by creating echo chambers of nasty people and then create threads to cause fights. These aren’t good people and show who the person is. Friends don’t allow ugly on their threads and instead of stoping bullying, they don’t breed it.

  • Lonnie Webb Get a wife, kids/grandkids, job, car… or best of all: become a ham radio operator instead. With the hurricane coming, we need more licensed operators than ever.
  • Danielle Grayson Selectively read posts and dont talk to people u dont wanna talk to 😂
  • Johannes Vick Keep it positive. If someone’s acting like a troll. Only reply with facts.
If they continue then they are no longer welcome.

  • Brian K Morris Get away from it every now and then. Even twenty-four hours away from the basic toxicity is helpful to one’s psychic survival.
  • Jon Roscetti Before hitting post on anything: pause, and ask yourself: Does this help?

  • Christina Tenney First rule: I do what I want. People use their social media platform for a myriad of reasons. I don’t take that too seriously. Facebook is supposed to be my escape, not my burden. I keep things light for the most part. And there are things I will not discuss.

Second rule: I’m not on every day. I take breaks from social media.

  • Marky Comics I created an Anti-Troll gif.
  • Alphe Fruin Sometimes you need to take a step back when you feel the negative energy
  • Christie Shinn Not giving a fuck.
  • Nicole Jobin If you don’t agree, just keep scrolling….
  • Doyle Graham If peoples posts bother you, make you uncomfortable, or annoy you, there’s this awesome block ability. I love my profile because I only friend…….. friends, and if something happens and we are no longer friends, I remove them from my Facebook. I have no negativity on my feed, I love Facebook because I’m able to limit who’s in my life.
  • Randy Zimmerman Use social media for promotional or amusement use only. Personal stuff you can send texts, or call, or better still visit them in person.

  • Bill Sartain I never create a purposely hurtful post, but there are occasionally some that get “butt hurt” over anything. This is my response to them. Lol!!
Image may contain: 1 person, smiling, meme and text
  • Jeramy Hobbs If your perspective is basically the same as some other person in the comments like and move on.

At the end of the day I’m probably not changing anyone’s mind. And it doesn’t matter what their opinion is anyway bc we for most part can’t do anything about the ripples we float on, besides voting, which there are so many degrees of separation between the vote and the act that is almost pointless too. It does me no good to know where you stand on an issue all it really does is tell me who is and isn’t in my tribe. And I fucking hate tribalism in politics. If you agree with something because it’s left or right rather than coming to your own conclusion, you’re a huge part of the problem.

  • David Adkins Will be discussing this Sunday!! But I have a full hour recording from a sheriff cyber detective, and a lot of the information there was so large that one post would not be enough.
Avoiding anything religious, political, controversial, or negative is a start only.
Next, do not reply to negative comments, it only fuels them. If you must reply, do not reply to them, do a seperate post to combat the comment only.
Block as many negative or triggering posts and people who post them as needed to not be triggered or be duped into responding. Social media is about attention, and many who post crap that is controversial are looking for attention. Ignore them.
I look at social media like the streets and subways of New York. There are some places you know are not safe! There are others you see that people are weird or asking for stuff, avoid all them, do not approach, and do not look at them directly. Many artists play or draw, and are looking for recognition of their talents, and that is a great place for it! Then you have the gangs that show up and try to hold people hostage, try to manipulate others, threaten and slander for everyone to see. These are the ones needing to be stopped, but too many are too scared to get involved. They are organized and well informed, but if the people stood up, they would be no threat at all.
Some one needs to stand up and have enough guts and voice to make a difference!
