FORMER ARTIST ALLEY COORDINATOR LEAVES WIZARD WORLD TO INVEST IN
    COMICS’ FUTUREs CREATORS.
Columbus, OH., October 1, 2018 — After less than a year in the role, Victor Dandridge — “The
Hardest Working Man in Comics,” exits the celeb-centric convention company, aiming to steer
his U Cre-8 Comics brand to new heights.
Featured as an all-ages friendly panel at cons across the country, U Cre-8 Comics started as a
way to give back to the medium that’s inspired and shaped his interests and career. A fan and
reader since the early 1990’s, Dandridge hopes to encourage young creators by bringing
comics INTO the classroom — not just to boost reading aptitudes, but to also promote the
creative expression and potential entrepreneurial experiences inherent in geekdom today.
With nine options of programming content, U Cre-8 Comics offers unique engagement projects
for students in grades K-12. Projects can be combined in customizable blocks, with a focus on
the 4 C’s of 21st Century Learning (Communication, Collaboration, Critical Thinking, and
Creativity). Through our eight traditional art products (all rooted in the sequential arts), we
encourage educators to explore their own curriculums, using U Cre-8 Comics to accent state-
    mandated benchmarks.

Debuting in 2011, the U Cre-8 Comics line has been designed as an innovative bridge between
comics and the classroom. With a mix of programming options and practical art supplies, U
Cre-8 Comics is a perfect way to engage students and empower their learning.-Victor Dandridge Jr
